James Drake Media is a London studio built entirely on AI and grounded in storytelling, working across art, science, history and film. It makes cultural films and commercial commissions, and its short animation The Little Prince won Best Short Animation at SIAFF, the Korean International AI Film Festival in Seoul. The studio also hosts AIMA London 2026 and presents its own James Drake Award. Its motto is AI is the medium, storytelling is the mission. The services it lists are AI-built commercial production, from advertising and branded content to event visuals and hybrid productions, and its flagship films include the award-winning AI shorts and cinematic series Temples of Opera and history reimagined on screen. AIMA London, the AI Movie Awards, is planned for November 2026 as two days of screenings, awards and talks, with James Drake Media as a co-organiser. At our festival the James Drake Award went to Freedom, produced by James Drake Media and Creait.Me, as the best historical documentary and true crime entry at the Ground Zero Edition; the film is inspired by Tadeusz Kościuszko. The company's co-founder James Drake, a British entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded the scientific publisher Future Science Group and The Drake Foundation, is on the festival's guest list.
