Head of CG in the animation and VFX department at Platige Image, previously at Alvernia Studios, with close to two decades as an artist, manager and creative director. He runs the CG side of cinematics the game world has watched: the Witcher IV reveal at The Game Awards, the Saros announcement for PS5, Secret Level for Prime Video and Exoborne. He came in from both sides at once, finishing a computer-science degree with a thesis on video-based camera tracking, then leaving his first games job for the Academy of Fine Arts, and he still works hands-on in Maya, Nuke and Unreal Engine, with pipelines and in-house tools written in Python. Co-founder of Animatica AI, a MotionBuilder plugin that generates animation from a prompt but hands it back as plain keyframes, so the animator trims, layers and directs the result instead of taking it or leaving it. He lectures at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, and his public position on AI in production is a measured one: a tool that opens things up and speeds things up, and that still needs a human answering for the result.
