Director, screenwriter and producer, member of the Polish Film Academy, the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Producers Alliance. His feature-length debut The Pawnshop (Lombard) won the Polish Film Award, the Eagle, for Best Documentary of 2023, screened at nearly 100 international festivals and took 25 awards, including the Grand Prix at Millennium Docs Against Gravity and Best Film from Central and Eastern Europe at Astra Film Festival, alongside IDA Award nominations for Best Film and Best Director. Professionally tied to TVP Polish Television since 2007, he has authored over 170 short documentaries and investigative reportages, with wins in Poland's most prestigious journalism competitions, including the PAP Ryszard Kapuściński Award and the Watergate Award of the Polish Journalists Association. A graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice and Wajda School, he has taken part in development programmes such as Dok.Incubator, Ex Oriente and DocLab Poland. Since 2018 he has co-owned 4:30 Studio, a production company in Katowice.
