American producer and screenwriter, a New York University film school graduate who has worked for three decades with director Martin Kunert. He produced Voices of Iraq, the 2004 documentary shot by Iraqis themselves on 150 cameras the production handed out during the war, which MovieMaker Magazine called a genuinely groundbreaking work and which played in American cinemas and at Edinburgh, Locarno and Melbourne. He created and executive-produced MTV's Fear, one of the first shows to hand the camera to its participants, and made Campfire Tales for New Line Cinema. At the other end of the scale he produced 3000 Miles to Graceland for Warner Bros., a sixty-million-dollar picture with Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Christian Slater and Courteney Cox. He has written and developed for Warner Bros., Paramount, 20th Century Fox, CBS and NBC. Currently, he is producing a historical feature film where all the characters and 50% of the content are recreated with generative AI.
