CopySight

Copyright checks

CopySight is the copyright layer for generative production. It scores how close a generated frame sits to protected characters, brands and artwork, clears that risk before anything ships, then follows the pipeline through to registering the finished work. In April 2025 it secured a US Copyright Office registration for AI-generated content on behalf of a client, a first for the industry. Founded in 2024, based in Los Angeles. Its core product is the CopyScore, a quantitative IP risk score checked against known IP libraries, which identifies protected characters, real people, trademarks and styles in images, video and 3D assets. The site frames four jobs: detecting and scoring infringement risks before a campaign goes live, protecting exclusivity, proving human authorship so that AI-generated content is protected and compliant, and maintaining a chain of title. It offers a web tool, a ComfyUI integration, compliance and legal reports, an API with bulk processing and a commercial approval badge, and custom IP libraries for enterprises, and it describes three groups of users: entertainment and gaming studios, AI platforms and aggregators that embed the score in their generation pipeline, and IP legal teams and insurers. Its co-founder and CEO, Artem Petrov, is on the festival's guest list, and CopySight sponsored the Best Ukrainian Film award at the Ground Zero Edition, won by NINA.
