Warsaw Glitch takes place August 20-22, 2027 in Warsaw, Poland. The festival brings together screenings, talks, workshops, competitions, industry events and special evening formats across the venue.

Warsaw Glitch is an international film and digital festival exploring cinema, animation, internet-native storytelling and emerging creative technologies. It brings together filmmakers, artists, producers, studios, educators, technologists and audiences interested in how moving images are changing.

Warsaw Glitch is for film audiences, filmmakers, animators, producers, digital creators, students, educators, studios, technology companies and cultural institutions. Some parts of the programme are open to all attendees, while selected industry and workshop formats may require a specific pass, invitation or registration.

No. The festival explores cinema and moving-image culture broadly. AI-supported work is one part of the conversation, alongside animation, film craft, internet-native formats, technology, authorship, visual culture and the future of production.

Every pass is booked through registration: Early Bird -50% now: Premium Pass $339 (regular $679), Industry Pass $229 (regular $459) for the International Producers Forum, Festival Pass $189 (regular $379, without the afterparty), 1-Day Pass $129 (regular $249, Friday, Saturday or Sunday) and Film Pass $99 (regular $189). There are no tickets for single screenings. The Film Pass ($99 Early Bird, regular $189) covers the film screenings on all three days and meetings with creators, and the 1-Day Pass ($129 Early Bird, regular $249) covers one day. Register on the Tickets page; places are limited.

The Awards Gala is included in the Premium, Festival and Industry Pass (International Producers Forum), and is also open to competition nominees and invited guests. Final access rules will be published in good time.

Yes. Workshops, selected industry sessions, pitching formats and some networking events may have limited capacity and may require advance registration.

Yes. Selected screenings and programme formats may run in parallel across multiple rooms. The final schedule will indicate room assignments and recommended arrival times.

Entries for the Warsaw Glitch Awards 2027 go through FilmFreeway, from September 1, 2026 to the final deadline on August 1, 2027. The Submit a Film page lists every category with its fees, the deadlines, the awards and the rules.

The awards take film, animation, documentary and historical work, music videos, fashion films, ads and commercials, online, social and vertical formats, student films and experimental digital motion. The Short categories take work up to five minutes; Film, Animation and Documentary / Historical take anything longer.

Yes. The awards accept fully AI-generated, AI-assisted, hybrid and traditional work. The jury looks at how technology serves the filmmaker's vision: it should extend that vision, not replace it. You must hold the rights to all AI-generated and third-party material in the film.

Warsaw Glitch Awards and Pixel form the festival’s core competition and showcase ecosystem. Final categories and award rules are published on the Awards and submission pages.

Guests and speakers are announced gradually. Each profile shows its public status where needed, such as confirmed, announced, invited or TBC.

Speaker profiles are listed on the Speakers page, where available with bios, programme appearances and selected official links.

The International Producers Forum is the festival’s industry programme for producers, studios, executives, creators, financiers, distributors and technology partners. It includes selected talks, panels, networking and business-focused formats.

Some sessions may be included with selected passes, while others may require invitation, registration or an industry credential. Final access details will be shown on each programme item.

The festival venue sits in central Warsaw. Centrum metro station (line M1) is a 3-minute walk, the Warszawa Srodmiescie and Warszawa Centralna railway stations are up to 10 minutes on foot, and from Chopin Airport the train to Warszawa Srodmiescie takes about 25 minutes, a taxi about 20. During festival days we recommend public transport.

Warsaw Presidential Hotel is the partner hotel of the festival, in the very centre of Warsaw. On the evening of August 20, 2027 the hotel also hosts the festival party for festival guests staying there and for invited VIPs.

Personal photography may be permitted in public festival areas where indicated. Recording or photographing films, performances or protected programme content is not allowed unless explicitly authorized.
