Warsaw Glitch accepts films, animation and short-form work made with new creative technologies and AI. A single entry runs in every category it fits and plays for its share of the pool, split across the competitive sections. The Grand Prix carries a cash prize of up to 1,000 USD; every other prize is in-kind, from GenJam hackathon credits to credits and services put up by partners and sponsors, all handed out live on stage at the Grand Gala on Saturday, August 29. Entries run through FilmFreeway, the world's largest festival submission service.

What you need to know
Where to submit
Every entry goes through FilmFreeway. You create a submission, add a screener link and pick the categories that fit. One film can run in several at once.
Who can enter
Films completed after September 1, 2025, with no limit on running time. Generative AI and hybrid pipelines are welcome, with human authorship at the centre.
Categories
Film, animation, online, social and vertical forms, documentary, music video and student film. Curators may move an entry if another category suits it better.
What to prepare
A screener link with a password valid until the festival ends, English subtitles for films in other languages, a synopsis, the main credits, stills and a poster.
Entry fees
The entry fee depends on the category and the exact amount is shown on FilmFreeway before you pay anything. Students of partner schools can ask for a waiver.
How it works
Every entry is watched by the curator of its category. Decisions go out by email, selected films screen at the festival and the awards are handed out at the Gala.
