WG 2026 / Submit
Warsaw Glitch accepts film, animation and short-form work made with new creative technologies and AI. A single entry can be considered across every relevant competition and section.
All submissions go through FilmFreeway. Create an entry, upload your screener and pick the sections that fit.
Films completed after September 1, 2025. Work made with generative AI, hybrid or new-technology pipelines is welcome; human authorship remains at the centre.
WARSAW GLITCH AWARDS (Feature & Documentary), ANIMATICON (animation) and PIXEL AWARDS (short forms, music videos, ads, vertical and experimental work).
Entry fees range roughly $20-$50 depending on the deadline phase (earlier is cheaper). Fee waivers are available for students of cooperating universities.
A total prize pool of 50,000 USD, cash and in-kind, split across the competition sections. Winners take a share of it on stage at the Grand Gala.
The main statuettes carry a qualifier place on the path to the Chroma Awards, so a win here does not end in Warsaw.
Selected films screen in a real cinema in the Palace of Culture and Science, in front of an audience that came to watch.
Every competition section has its own curator, drawn from the directors, animators and producers on the festival stage.
Producers, studios and investors spend the festival at the International Producers Forum, one floor from the screenings.
Feature, documentary, animation, vertical shorts and game cinematics, from a hand-drawn frame to a generative pipeline. The craft counts, not the tool.
Deadlines and the full regulations are published on the FilmFreeway page.
