AI.MAG is a German-language magazine covering artificial intelligence for the creative industries: generative image, video and audio tools, the studios adopting them and the people behind the work. It reports from the craft side rather than the product-launch side, closer to a conversation about how the work is actually made than to conference coverage. It bills itself as Germany's first AI tech magazine for business and culture, and lets experts and decision-makers speak for themselves, drawing on years of industry experience and the latest developments. AI.MAG is available in print at selected kiosks in the German-speaking region and online through subscriptions and single issues, as well as in an interactive format, and it appears in both German and English. Its site also offers AI-generated podcasts and announces a Markdown edition. The magazine is published by the German-Korean publisher and entrepreneur Peter Chulmin Krell, who runs Krell Enterprises, ran the magazine for game developers Game Face from 2003 to 2008 and helped start the Pan European Online Game Association; AI.MAG has been out since 2023, and its publisher is on the festival's guest list.
