Who's on stage

Lukasz Kowalski

Director · Journalist · Poland

Director, screenwriter and producer, member of the Polish Film Academy, the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Producers Alliance. His feature-length debut The Pawnshop (Lombard) won the Polish Film Award, the Eagle, for Best Documentary of 2023, screened at nearly 100 international festivals and took 25 awards, including the Grand Prix at Millennium Docs Against Gravity and Best Film from Central and Eastern Europe at Astra Film Festival, alongside IDA Award nominations for Best Film and Best Director. Professionally tied to TVP Polish Television since 2007, he has authored over 170 short documentaries and investigative reportages, with wins in Poland's most prestigious journalism competitions, including the PAP Ryszard Kapuściński Award and the Watergate Award of the Polish Journalists Association. A graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice and Wajda School, he has taken part in development programmes such as Dok.Incubator, Ex Oriente and DocLab Poland. Since 2018 he has co-owned 4:30 Studio, a production company in Katowice.

Piotr Sliskowski

Cinematographer · Educator · Poland

Cinematographer and, since 2019, chair of the Polish Society of Cinematographers, and a lecturer at the Łódź Film School, whose cinematography department he graduated from himself. He shot Waldemar Krzystek 80 Million, Feliks Falk Joanna and Ryszard Bugajski General Nil, and more recently Sami swoi. Początek and the series Stulecie Winnych and Dewajtis. Earlier came Piotr Trzaskalski Edi and Jan Jakub Kolski Pornografia. Awarded at Camerimage, nominated for the Golden Duck, and in 2023 a laureate of the Public Media Award for cinematography.

Robert Gulaczyk

Actor · Policy Reform · Poland

Film and theatre actor, known for the title role in Loving Vincent, the first feature painted frame by frame. Since April 2025 he has chaired the board of ZZAP, the Polish Actors' Union, for the 2025 to 2029 term, taking over from Maksymilian Rogacki. He represents the profession where the terms of the work are decided: pay and conditions, performers' rights, and what artificial intelligence is doing to a craft built on a human face and voice. He also sits on the board of the Creative Poland association.

Jedrzej Jezierski

Actor · Presenter · Poland

Film and television actor, born in 1994. On the big screen he appeared in Czerwone maki and Operacja Soulcatcher; on television in Krolowie as Andrzej of Teczyn and in Korona Krolow. Jagiellonowie, with audiences also knowing him from the series Pierwsza milosc, Na Wspolnej and Klan. Often cast in historical productions, he is equally at ease in front of a camera and a live audience: at Warsaw Glitch he steps to the other side of the stage as a confirmed host of the festival's talks and panels, from keynotes to audience Q&A.

Kamil Przelecki

Producer · Educator · Poland

A producer and production manager whose credits include Andrzej Wajda's Oscar-nominated Katyń and Revenge, and Michał Kwieciński's Extras. An economic expert for the Polish Film Institute and co-author of its feature budget template, he teaches production at the Wajda School and the film schools in Warsaw and Gdynia. In 2005 he released the first Polish feature simultaneously in cinemas and online, and a year later founded the country's first legal film distribution portal.
