CopySight AI checked every nominated film for IP risk before the awards
One of the most important conversations at Warsaw Glitch 2026 was not about what generative AI can create, but about what happens before that work is released, licensed or commercialized. That is why we partnered with CopySight AI.
CopySight acts as an IP-risk checkpoint for AI-generated content. Its CopyScore returns a single score from 1 to 100 showing how closely content may resemble protected IP, including characters, real people, trademarks and recognizable art styles. It works across images, video and 3D, and is designed not as another standalone creative tool, but as infrastructure between generation and commercial release.
And we decided to put it directly into the festival process.
Every nominated film was checked
For this year's Warsaw Glitch selection, every nominated film was checked using CopySight's festival tools before awards were finalized. As far as we know, this is the first time a film festival has introduced this kind of systematic IP-risk verification into its awards workflow. And it worked.
From now on, this becomes a permanent part of how Warsaw Glitch operates. Not because a score should decide whether a film is good, original or artistically valuable. It should not. But because festivals, creators, agencies and AI platforms increasingly need a way to identify potential IP risk before content reaches the public, clients, distributors or insurers.
And then came Tommy Petrov
Tommy Petrov's keynote blew everyone's minds in the first few minutes, and that was only the beginning of his masterclass on copyright, authorship and intellectual property in the age of generative AI. It became one of those sessions where you could feel the room recalibrating its understanding of what this industry is actually going to have to deal with. The full keynote is coming online soon.
The partnership continues
Warsaw Glitch participants will receive a free trial of CopySight AI, giving creators a direct way to run their own work through CopyScore before publishing or releasing it. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. Stay safe, create and keep glitchin'.
