1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Related technologies, such as local storage and session storage, let a site remember small pieces of information between pages or visits. Together they keep a site working, secure and convenient. This Policy forms part of, and should be read with, the Privacy Policy.
Cookies may be session cookies (temporary, removed when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a set time or until you delete them). We use them to provide the service you request and for security, and, only with consent and only if such tools are introduced, for analytics or marketing.
2. Consent and the cookie banner
When you first visit the website, a cookie banner is shown asking you to acknowledge this Policy and the Privacy Policy and to accept the use of cookies. Essential cookies, needed for the site to work and for security, are used on the basis of our legitimate interest and the provision of a service you expressly request. Optional cookies (e.g. analytics or marketing), if introduced in future, are used only after you give consent through the banner, which you can change or withdraw at any time. Your choice is remembered so the banner is not shown again unnecessarily.
3. What technologies this site uses
Warsaw Glitch uses only a small set of essential cookies and browser-storage entries. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Display fonts are self-hosted, so loading the site does not set third-party font cookies. The full list is below.
4. Cookie and storage inventory
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| wg_consent | Cookie / storage | Essential | Remembers your cookie-banner choice. | Up to 12 months |
| wg_oen / wg_opl | Cookie (HTTP-only) | Essential | Remember you unlocked the partnership offer deck. | 8 hours |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Cookie | Essential / preference | Remembers your language (English or Polish). | Up to 1 year |
| wg-seen / wg-push | sessionStorage | Essential | Prevent replaying the intro and carry page-transition state. | Session |
| wg-dock | sessionStorage | Preference | Remembers the radio player state. | Session |
5. Essential, preference, analytics and marketing
Essential cookies and storage are needed for the site to work, for example to remember your cookie choice and language, to keep a deck unlocked and to run page transitions, and cannot be switched off without breaking core features. Preference storage remembers minor choices, such as the radio player state. This site does not currently use analytics or marketing cookies; if we add them in future, we will list them here and load them only after consent via the banner, where required.
6. Managing cookies and browser controls
You can change your banner choice or clear and block cookies and storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working, such as protected decks or your saved language. If you follow a link to an external service (e.g. the submission platform, our social channels or ticketing), that service may set its own cookies under its own policy; this Policy covers only the Warsaw Glitch website. We will update this Policy if our use of cookies changes; the date at the top of the page shows the last update. Questions: contact@warsawglitch.com.
