Kacper Wikiel

Robert Kaminski

A graduate of the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw School of Commerce, Haute Etudes de Commerce Paris and ICAN Institute Harvard Business. Twenty years on the B2B and B2C services market: he has worked for the Accor Orbis group, Benefit Systems and the Polish Development Fund, among others, taking charge of business development.

Edi Pyrek

Futurist · Author · Poland

Futurist, author and psychologist, co-founder of the Global Artificial Intelligence Alliance and the Academy of Future, and an advocate of compassionate AI. Over a career spanning more than three decades he has advised three Polish prime ministers and several cabinet ministers, worked as a peace negotiator among tribal chiefs in Afghanistan after 9/11, and lectured as a dean of psychology at SWPS University. He has written ten books, including titles published by National Geographic, produced documentary series for Discovery Channel and TVP, and spoken three times at TEDx. His decades of fieldwork among traditional cultures, from Siberian shamans to the Blackfoot nation that adopted him as a Sun Dancer, inform his work on peak performance: pairing the state of flow with technology instead of losing ourselves to it.

Robert Kroplewski

An expert on new technology and the information society.

From 2016 to 2024 he served as the Polish digital affairs minister's plenipotentiary for the information society. In 2019 and 2020 he was deputy director of NASK's AIDA centre, for AI and data analytics, and since 2020 he has been an expert and programme lead at the Digital Platform of the Industry of the Future, run by the state Foundation Platform for the Industry of the Future.

He sat on the European Commission's High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence (AIHLEG), which drew up the EU's AI strategy between 2018 and 2020, and on the OECD's AIGO group behind its AI policy recommendations in 2018 and 2019; he is a standing expert in the OECD's ONEAI network and was vice-chair of AIGO in 2022 and 2023. Between 2020 and 2024 he served on the Council of Europe's CAHAI and CAI committees, which produced the first treaty in history on artificial intelligence, human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

From 2022 to 2024 he sat on the Data and AI Review Board, the group writing standards for artificial intelligence and data at NATO.

He heads the Global Artificial Intelligence Alliance think tank and co-authored the CompassionAI project.

He was legal director at Poland's National Broadcasting Council from 2004 to 2006 and head of the legal office at Polish public television from 2012 to 2016.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdansk and of a two-year seminar in commercial law and private international law, he also completed postgraduate studies at the Intellectual Property Institute of the Jagiellonian University and in competition protection, industrial property and computer law at the same university.
