Co-founder and CEO of CopySight AI, the Los Angeles platform he started in 2024 to make AI-generated content legally protectable for enterprises. A creative director and artist, he was a creative director at Snap, where he helped launch the Spectacles AR glasses for creators, and a tech creative director at Meta building mixed-reality products. He also co-founded the AI-compliance platform GetGen.ai, and earlier ran an adtech business for around a decade, working with brands such as Disney and L'Oréal and leading it to multimillion-dollar exits.

Lawyer and cultural studies scholar, an expert on artificial intelligence regulation and public policy, and the author of research and articles on the digital economy. He sits on subgroup panels of the European Artificial Intelligence Board, on the Council of Europe's Steering Committee for New and Emerging Digital Technologies, and on the steering committee of the INFOSTRATEG programme at Poland's National Centre for Research and Development. He previously sat on the steering committee of the OECD's Global Partnership on AI and has worked with the Panoptykon Foundation, the IDEAS Institute and OKO.press.

Founding partner of Vicente LLP, the American firm built around cannabis and psychedelics law, and one of the people who wrote the rules those industries now run on. He helped draft Colorado's Amendment 64, the first measure anywhere to legalise cannabis for all adults, and co-authored Proposition 122, the Natural Medicine Health Act, passed in 2022 with 54 percent of the vote, opening regulated access to natural psychedelic medicine. He helped found the Psychedelic Bar Association. Law Week Colorado named him a Lawyer of the Year for 2025.
