
Mira Marcinow joins the line-up: a writer and philosopher from the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the author of Bezmatek.
She holds a doctorate in the humanities in the field of psychology, works in the Department of Logic and Cognitive Science at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and heads the Centre for Psychoanalytic Thought she co-founded there. Her subject is the philosophy of psychiatry and the theory of madness. She wrote A History of Polish Madness and Bezmatek, and took a Polityka Passport for literature in 2020 and a Nike Literary Award nomination a year later.
