Loyola Marymount University joins the partners: the Los Angeles film school where two of our speakers teach.
Its School of Film and Television teaches the whole craft in one place: animation, film and television production, screenwriting, recording arts and media studies, with graduate programmes in writing and producing. Roughly 1,160 students, nine of them to a lecturer, and more than 400 companies taking its people on internships; by its own account, TheWrap ranks it the fifth film school in the country. Meggie Miao has taught there since 2024, and Justin Trevor Winters lectures on screenwriting, directs the Innovators Film Festival and chairs the LMU AI Alliance.
