Veles Productions

Veles Productions is a virtual production and XR studio with offices in Warsaw, New York and Montpellier. It works on Unreal Engine: camera tracking for broadcast, augmented reality on air, 3D scanning and custom virtual sets, plus Nomad Stage, a mobile LED wall that travels to the shoot. Their credits run from Poland's 2023 election night to the feature Kulej and commercial work. At the festival they show Nexa, their hybrid of actors, film production and generative AI. The studio's site sorts its work into broadcast, film, metaverse and gaming, and products, and says it serves clients all over the world, building worlds, designs and stories from scratch for film, broadcast, XR and corporate customers. It also offers 3D assets and 3D biomes, high-quality 3D photo scanning, and a virtual set made for real-time production from pre-made assets. Its chief executive, Artur Paprocki, runs an international team working where AI meets virtual reality. Nexa is the studio's hybrid series, in which part of the image is shot on set and part is built in animation and in the models; at the festival the idea, script and direction of the scenes were credited to Aleksandra Panisko, production to Dorota Zwierzchowska, and animation and AI art to Kate Molchanova.
