Topaz Labs builds the finishing tools a lot of this work quietly ends on: Gigapixel for enlarging stills, Photo AI for cleaning them up, and Video AI for footage, where it upscales to 4K and beyond, removes noise and grain, deinterlaces old broadcast material and interpolates frames for slow motion. Restoration teams use it to bring archive material up to a modern screen, and generative filmmakers use it for the opposite reason: models still deliver clips that are soft, short and low-resolution, and this is the pass that turns them into something you can hand over. Its site lists the product family as Topaz Video, Topaz Photo, Topaz Gigapixel, Topaz for Mobile and Topaz for Web, and names the video models and workflows as Precision Upscale, Creative Upscale, Frame Interpolation, Slow Motion and SDR to HDR. On the image side the tools include Unblur, Sharpen, Denoise, Relight, Photo Restoration, Face Enhancer, Background Remover and Colorizer, and stills can be upscaled up to 16 times in pixels. There is also a panel for Adobe Premiere, and the company describes an offer for enterprise and production workflows. Topaz Video is named in the festival programme, in a lecture on producing advertising.
