Maspex

Food & drinks

The largest private food company in Poland and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. Thirty-five years in, it runs nearly 70 brands, with products present in more than 70 countries: it leads juices, nectars and soft drinks in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Romania, pasta, jams and sauces in Poland, and since 2022 the Polish market for vodka and imported spirits. Its environmental and social goals sit in the Hummingbird Effect strategy, built on five pillars, and alongside it the company runs the biggest educational programmes for children in Poland. Maspex Wadowice is headquartered in Wadowice, in southern Poland, and has grown largely through acquisitions across the region. It was founded in 1990, began with fruit tea, coffee and chocolate, and in 1999 took over the Tymbark and Anin juice brands. In 2003 it bought the Lubella company, adding pasta, cereals, groats and flours to its range. It began cooperating with Nestlé in 2019, and from 2020 its companies hold the exclusive right to market and sell Nestea products under licence. It also runs a juice and beverage factory in Tychy and production and logistics complexes at the Lubella plant in Lublin and the Tymbark plant in Olsztynek.
