EICC

The Europe India Chamber of Commerce works between European and Indian business, bringing companies from the two markets together. By its own description it connects businesses, policy leaders and investors across Europe and India through trade advocacy, events, publications and membership. It presents itself on europeindia.eu under the short name EICC, which is also how it appears on our partner wall; the full name goes in the role line beneath the logo. Its vice president and board member, Amit Lath, is on the festival's guest list. He is an Indian entrepreneur who has spent twenty-eight years building business out of Poland: CEO and managing partner of the Sharda Group of Companies and CEO of QVK Deep Foods, with trade running through more than thirty countries. In 2023 the President of India awarded him the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, the highest honour India confers on its diaspora, for his part in evacuating Indian citizens from Ukraine through Poland during Operation Ganga and for his contribution to business relations and investment between India and Poland. He is also vice chair of the Europe India Centre for Business and Industry.
