Chroma Awards
The Chroma Awards is the largest competition in the world for film, music and games made with AI, started in 2023 as Project Odyssey and now in its fourth edition. Its site counts more than 6,500 submissions, over 5,500 participants and more than 300 winners and finalists, and says that across all seasons it has given away over $2M in free trials and credits and over $300K in cash. Incubated by ElevenLabs and backed by Google, Adobe, CapCut, Luma and a16z, it flies first-prize winners to the ceremony in Hollywood. Other backers named on the site include Dreamina, Freepik, fal, Kling and Hailuo. The competition is divided into divisions and categories, with a Behind-the-Scenes division among them, and a category presented by ElevenLabs. It states its goal as bridging the gap between Hollywood and Silicon Valley to give creatives tangible opportunities, and commits to three things: providing free trials, education, cash prizes and jobs, showcasing best-in-class content rather than slop, and respecting likeness, IP and copyright. For Polish and Central and Eastern European filmmakers there is a direct link to our festival: the Poland and CEE selection is a qualifier pathway to the Chroma Awards by ElevenLabs.
