The Wind Changes

A young field mouse has never left the only burrow he knows, hoarding one seed at a time. Fire takes the field and drives him into a cold, unfamiliar forest with a single seed to his name. Drawn back by an old scent, a silent white owl scars him for life. Wounded and stopped by rain, he begins to scatter his seeds across the forest instead of guarding them — until the wind decides where he belongs. No dialogue.
