PHOSPHENE Detective Thomas wakes to a night call from a man he owes his life to. The job sounds routine: find a missing van driver. But the trail pulls him further and further from what he thought he was looking for — to a body with no eyes, to an archive holding something he was never meant to find, and to a question with no good answer. The closer Thomas gets to the truth, the less he understands what he's actually searching for, or why it's costing him his mind.
