A cult figure of Polish film editing, a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Society of Film Editors, and one of those editors it is fair to call directors of editing. He has cut large-scale spectacle, Jerzy Hoffman's With Fire and Sword and Jerzy Kawalerowicz's Quo Vadis, and auteur cinema alike: Destined for Blues, which he can fairly be called a co-author of, Jan Kidawa-Błoński's Little Rose and Jerzy Skolimowski's Four Nights with Anna. A regular collaborator of Andrzej Jakimowski, awarded for editing in Gdynia and decorated with the Gloria Artis Medal in 2016.
