Who's on stage
Mariusz Busilo
Lawyer · Media Law · Poland
Lawyer specialising in telecommunications, IT, media and copyright law, and an expert of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications. He worked at the National Broadcasting Council and then at the Office of Electronic Communications, where he handled telecom legislation and, from 2006 to 2012, served as deputy director of the spectrum management department, running the legal side of how radio frequencies are allocated. He has worked in European Commission, CEPT and ITU groups, and today advises telecom, media and technology companies.

Michal Kibil
Lawyer · Tech Law · Poland
Lawyer and senior partner at DGTL Kibil Piecuch i Wspólnicy, the firm he co-founded, with offices in Warsaw and Kraków. He leads its HR law practice and co-leads new technologies, working on data protection, the flow of personal data, blockchain and what automation actually does to employment. He started out at the National Labour Inspectorate, then opened and ran the Warsaw office of a leading Kraków firm and headed HR practices at two others before founding his own. Co-author of the expert report Blockchain in Poland, he trains lawyers at the Warsaw Bar Association.
