Loyola Marymount University joins the partners: the Los Angeles film school where two of our speakers teach.

Its School of Film and Tele­vi­sion teach­es the whole craft in one place: an­i­ma­tion, film and tele­vi­sion pro­duc­tion, screen­writ­ing, record­ing arts and me­dia stud­ies, with grad­u­ate pro­grammes in writ­ing and pro­duc­ing. Rough­ly 1,160 stu­dents, nine of them to a lec­tur­er, and more than 400 com­pa­nies tak­ing its peo­ple on in­tern­ships; by its own ac­count, TheWrap ranks it the fifth film school in the coun­try. Meggie Miao has taught there since 2024, and Justin Trevor Winters lec­tures on screen­writ­ing, di­rects the In­no­va­tors Film Fes­ti­val and chairs the LMU AI Alliance.

A Los Angeles film school that teaches the whole craft in one place: animation, film and television production, screenwriting, recording arts and media studies, with graduate programmes in writing and producing. It runs on roughly 1,160 students, nine of them to a lecturer, and more than 400 companies taking its people on internships; by its own account, TheWrap ranks it the fifth film school in the country. Two of our speakers teach there: Meggie Miao, in the School of Film and Television since 2024, and Justin Trevor Winters, who lectures on screenwriting, directs the Innovators Film Festival and chairs the LMU AI Alliance.
