Young as the Stars takes a physics idea 'energy is neither created nor destroyed, only transformed', and asks what that means for a human life. It follows a single spark of light from the death of a star, through a lifetime, to the moment it goes back into the universe. The film makes no claim about what comes after death, but wants you to leave feeling a bit better about uncertainty.
