Where the Enemy Sleeps

Winter, somewhere in the eastern borderlands. A young soldier cut off from his unit is ordered to carry a message across the forest before sunrise. The only road runs past a camp where the fires are still burning and the sentries are dozing in the snow.

Almost no dialogue, almost real time. Every step on the ice is a decision, every breath is loud. And the closer he gets, the more clearly he can hear the men sleeping on the other side of the treeline, talking in their sleep, in voices that sound exactly like his own.
