MarcinPerzyna
Media entrepreneur and a producer for film, television and the internet. Owner of Festival Group and of WOW, the streaming service it launched, he is the producer behind Poland's largest festival productions for television, behind feature films that mattered, and behind the first Polish series made using artificial intelligence.
He is one of the loudest advocates in Poland of AI-native and hybrid production, though in a specific version of it: the technology takes over what is repetitive and expensive, and the human stays where the story is decided. AI will not replace a creator's imagination, he argues, but it is a lever on quality and pace that this industry has never had before, and it puts spectacle within reach of Polish filmmakers who until now could not afford it.
On stage he speaks from three seats at once: the producer, the owner of a platform and the organiser of industry events, which is why he argues the new economics of production with numbers from his own productions. He also pushes for Polish tools of distribution and promotion, and for the Polish media industry to work together far more closely than it does.
