Brave Soldier

Every soldier stationed along the frozen front wears a mask shaped in the face of a fearless warrior. Here, fear must remain hidden, and courage must be proven again and again. Among them is a timid, sensitive young conscript who grips his rifle while concealing his true face behind the same heroic expression. When a mysterious and devastating bombardment engulfs the position, the soldiers disappear one by one into smoke and debris. Overcome with terror, the young soldier falls to the ground, shattering his mask. For the first time, the vulnerable face beneath it is exposed.

Brave Soldier is an allegory for the nameless young conscripts forced to wear the face of courage. Behind every heroic mask was an ordinary young person who felt fear, found joy in beauty, and longed to live. Before war could make them heroes, it cut down their youth like flowers at the height of their bloom.
